Educational trip to the U.S.A

Who we are and what it's all about
We are a group of students of the fifth year of the university programme, informatics (generation 2000/2001), studying at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It's already a tradition that students from our faculty take the initiative to organize something educational and useful as well as interesting and fun: An educational trip to the world's cutting edge companies on the America's West Coast. We are aware of the importance of additional education in our field of work and of gaining knowledge in general. Quick development of new technologies and methodologies in the business world cannot be successful without the knowledge of successful business systems and trends at home and abroad. We were also interested in getting to know the american way of working, studying and living.

Let us introduce ourselves:

  • Janez Gregor Dovžan - president
  • Miha Pšenica - PR
  • Mateja Mrše

Our field of expertise includes Internet, Oracle, Lotus Notes, electronics, mobile telecommunications, visual tools, Delphi, Linux, PHP, ASP, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, web design.
